DAVID ZATZ - BOARD MEMBER: Treasurer and Co-Founder
David is the original Founder and Director of the Hacienda O'Holland Animal Care Foundation. Hacienda O'Holland Animal Care Foundation is a 501(C)(3) Public Charity. Their love of animals prompted their move in 1995 to the Santa Ynez Valley to establish their life's dream of helping abused or unwanted animals
David spent most of his professional career (25 years) in Park City Utah in the Resort Hotel and Restaurant Development and Management business.

MICHAEL REID Ph.D., Psy.D. - BOARD MEMBER: Chairman and Co-Founder
Michael is a New Zealander who has been living in the USA since 2012. He has clinical interests and specialties that include Autism Spectrum Disorder, Complex and Challenging Behavior, Intellectual Disabilities and Psychopharmacology but to name a few. Becoming frustrated with the barriers to achieving quality service provision and observing a poor understanding within the workforce of evidence based practices, Michael has, in recent years, focused on workforce development, industry education and quality management systems using technology based solutions. Over the years and around the world, he has established community based mental and behavioral health provider organizations, accredited distance and in person education entities, and an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) credentialing body providing internationally accredited professional credentials.

THOMAS McCOOL Ed.D - BOARD MEMBER: Secretary
Tom has spent more than 30 years in the health and disability sector promoting quality programs and services for children and adults with special needs. Among other achievements, Tom has served as President and CEO of Eden Autism Services and Executive Director of Devereaux (Santa Barbara, CA). Tom has been awarded the prestigious Innovator of the Year Award from the Princeton Chamber of Commerce; and the Humanitarian of the Year Award from the New Jersey State Firemen’s Association. |
JESSIKA SHOEMAKER, B.S., BCAT - EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Currently, she serves as the Executive Director at Active Steps LLC, a distinguished behavioral healthcare company.Her extensive professional background in ABA is not just a testament to her expertise but also to her unwavering commitment to excellence. Jessika's analytical prowess and meticulous approach to problem-solving enrich our foundation with a unique blend of expertise and rigor.Beyond her technical proficiency, Jessika's true strength lies in her profound respect for community members. She is deeply passionate about Inclusion, bridging cultural divides, and propelling progress within the behavioral health industry. As she embarks on this new chapter with the Growing Minds Farm Education Foundation, Jessika aims to infuse her fervent dedication to community well-being. VICKI MOELLER, M.A. - PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Vicki completed her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and her graduate Applied Behavior Analysis courses at California State University - Los Angeles. Most of her career has been spent in Organizational Management and implementing Quality Management Systems for large provider organizations as a replicable process for organizations worldwide. Currently Vicki is the instructor for the ANSI Accredited Behavior Technician Level One Certificate Program and liaison for our international students. With Vicki's love for animals and experience with education programs, systems, and experiences she is the perfect match for our day to day farm education programs.

KYLEE ROULEAU - EVENTS COORDINATOR
Kylee started out her career as an EMT for American Medical Response in Santa Barbara County for 2 and 1/2 years. She is currently a behavior technician for the Santa Ynez Special Education Consortium working with teenagers with intellectual and developmental disabilities at the Santa Ynez Valley High School. As a wife and mother of two, Kylee brings her understanding of children and her organizational talent in planning our events that are critical in ensuring sustainability and support for our farm education program here at Kia Ora Ranch.
