Santa Barbara County Farm Day took place on September 6, 2025, and we were thrilled to welcome over 200 families to Growing Minds! 🌾🐐
If you missed it, don’t worry—there are plenty of exciting events coming up this fall.
Every donation makes a difference. Your support helps cover essential care for our rescued and rehomed animals, including feed, veterinary visits, hoof trimming, worming, fly protection, and other ongoing needs.
All program fees go right back into caring for our animals and also make it possible for us to offer scholarships and discounted access to families who need it most—ensuring that our programs remain welcoming and accessible to all. 
 

SeptEMBER 28th

Come enjoy a fun, county-fair style day with a delicious BBQ lunch! Explore our brand-new learning center, meet and cuddle our friendly little farm animals, and enjoy hands-on activities in the garden and play area. For those feeling adventurous, take a short scenic hike down to the lower pastures to visit the pigs and our gentle longhorn mama cows.​.

OCTOBER 25th
1:00pm - 3:00PM

Dress up in your favorite costume and help us get our little farm animals into the spirit with fun decorations. Then, join our Halloween parade up the private farm road, followed by treats, games, and classic bobbing for apples! 🍎

DeCEMBER 7th
​3:30PM-6:30PM

This signature annual fundraiser transforms our Learning Center into a warm, festive celebration. Guests will sip holiday cocktails, enjoy a sparkling dinner, bid on treasures in our lively silent auction. The evening ends on a magical note with a live auction of beautifully decorated holiday trees—each adorned with ornaments handcrafted by the children in our programs. 🎄​
